Safe raising and lowering of a person is no longer a problem. The winch has been tested and approved in accordance with BGR 159 and EN 1808 (see below) and can therefore be operated independently by the working person or, depending on the application, by a second person.
It is ideal for window cleaning, facade work or installations at height or depth.
The SWI-TEC S-Class has additional modifications such as a moving rope guide, a pre-grooved rope drum, a double fall protection are integrated and all drive parts are needle-bearing and splash-proof installed.

Regulation of the inspection bodies
The drum winch may only be used for the transport of people in connection with a second, independently tested and approved fall arrester (e.g. moving fall arrester or fall arrester) and must be attached to a separate, tested and approved anchor point.
Important: The suspension point for the winch must be at least 750 kg and no loads may be transported with the hand-operated drum winch!
